About This Product
A separate air tank is required. There are two types of package compressors: oil-filled and oil-free. Both have advantages and disadvantages, so please choose according to your application.
If you want to lower the volume of your air compressor, packaged compressors are common. It is relatively inexpensive compared to the scroll type, and has a noise level of 53 decibels, making it environmentally friendly. The noise value displayed is the value measured 1.5m in front of the machine in an anechoic chamber.
Lubrication type: Can withstand long-term use. Regular oil changes are required.
There is a package type with a built-in hair dryer. This is where the compressor and dryer are housed in the same metal box. In this type, hot air flows into the dryer. High-temperature compressed air puts a strain on a refrigeration dryer, so we recommend a separate type (external installation) as long as the installation environment allows.
■Freezer dryer, why is it better to use a separate type?
・As of April 1, 2020, the Refrigeration Dryer Freon Emissions Control Act came into effect. The penalties for violations have also become heavier. (Criminal penalty: Fine of up to 500,000 yen) When disposing of the product, a certificate of removal of refrigerant gas from a fluorocarbon recovery company is required. With a built-in type, extra costs will be incurred to dispose of the refrigeration dryer when replacing or removing it. Separate models require only the dryer, so they are relatively inexpensive.
-Built-in type puts a strain on the dryer as high temperature air flows directly into the dryer. Separate type does not allow high temperature air to flow in directly, so there is less load on the dryer (less likely to break down).
・Costs are low because only the dryer is replaced in the event of a major failure.
