About This Product
Refueled tank-mounted compressors have been the most popular compressors for a long time. Since it uses lubricating oil, it is highly durable and suitable for hard work. An oil alarm and automatic tank drain can also be installed to prevent oil from running out.
Since it uses the same system as a car engine, it is resistant to heat and vibration, and is by far the most durable among compressors.
It is appropriate to change the oil once every 6 to 8 months. (When operating 8 hours a day) Once you get used to it, you can replace it in about 10 minutes. (Please use compressor oil.) If it is extremely dirty, we recommend replacing it sooner.
In automobile engine oil, carbon builds up due to overheating and carbonization, which can cause malfunctions such as seizure of the compressor. By continuing to change the oil properly, the discharge air can remain clean for a long time.
Although it is a lubricating oil type, most of the lubricating oil splashed onto the piston during compression is pushed back to the bottom of the crank chamber by the compression negative pressure and oil ring. Therefore, the amount of oil flowing into the air is extremely small. In the event of a leak, most of it will remain in the air tank and be drained out through the drain cock.
Oil in the hose is likely to occur due to wear and tear on the cylinder and rings due to lack of oil changes over many years. Also, if you neglect to clean the air filter (intake port), oil may be sucked in when the piston returns, causing a similar phenomenon.
Regular oil changes and filter cleaning (once a month or at other times) will ensure clean air. You can further purify the air by installing a hair dryer or oil mist filter between the hoses. Due to model changes, the design may differ from the photo.
