About This Product

■What is a grease filter?

Kitchen exhaust (greasy smoke generated during cooking) is mainly water and oil. Grease filters are used to shut out oil and keep the inside of ducts clean. A filter with a low oil removal rate will quickly cause the exhaust duct to become covered in oil, increasing the risk of a duct fire. Furthermore, if smoke containing a lot of oil is emitted, it may damage the aesthetic appearance of the exterior walls and the surrounding environment. Hocos' grease filters have high removal performance and are available in three models: high air volume V filter, low pressure drop V filter, and F type greaser. Depending on the construction environment, application, purpose, and usage situation, choose the model that best suits the user's wishes. You can choose. Also, please use fire shutters with air volume adjustment function (FGS type fire shutters) for the kitchen. As a grease removal device attached to commercial kitchen equipment, Hocos' grease filter complies with the ``Standards for the structure of grease removal devices'' as stated in the Ministry of Home Affairs Fire and Disaster Management Agency's Fire Prevention Preliminary No. 162 dated August 15, 1996. The product has undergone performance tests based on the standards, and is affixed with a ``Japan Kitchen Industry Association (JFEA) certified label'' as a standard-compliant product, contributing to fire safety related to exhaust ducts.
