About This Product

CellSorter is a separation device developed to handle single cells. It can be used for a variety of applications including single cell analysis (DNA/RNA sequencing, CTC analysis, protein engineering).

■Cellsorter main features

・Selective extraction of single cells directly from the dish is possible. ・Dispense 1 cell into 80 PCR tubes in 1 cycle ・Droplet volume for adherent cells is less than 1μl ・Pickup volume for floating cells is ~1nl ・1 cell processing approximately 15-20 seconds ・Isolation of subpopulations of adherent living cells using fluorescent markers ・Both labeled and non-labeled cells can be recognized from the PC screen. ・Isolation of cells in the state of living cells ・Isolation of cells labeled with fluorescent molecular probes ・Both adherent and non-adherent cells can be separated ・Multiple cells can be detected by using the fluorescence filter of the microscope ・The speed of collecting multiple cells is 1 second per cell. ・The number of cells that can be collected in one program execution is 1 to 1,000.

■Piezo method single cell separation

Pipette control at the nanoliter level is extremely difficult due to factors such as surface tension, adhesion, and evaporation effects. CellSorter Scientific has overcome this challenge and developed an automated piezoelectric micropipette technology with sub-nanoliter accuracy. This piezo micropipette can be pipetted using a microscope under fluorescent or bright field conditions.

■Features

- Operate the CellSorter unit with two built-in high-speed fluid valves through a PC. - A high-precision micropipette equipped with an LED light source is combined with an electric micromanipulator to perform more accurate cell separation. -Special aluminum insert fitting that can be attached to the microscope stage allows installation of 35mm dishes, 80 holes of 10 PCR tube strips, 32x24mm2 glass cover slides, etc.
