About This Product

■Notes - Connect correctly according to the color coding of the lead wires. When making connections, be sure to turn off the device power to the electrical circuit to be connected. Incorrect wiring or short-circuiting of the load may cause damage to the switch and load-side electrical circuit. Even a momentary short circuit can lead to burnout of the output circuit. Additionally, working while the power is on may cause damage to the switch and load-side electrical circuit. - Separate the switch cord from the power source of other electrical equipment as much as possible. If they are bundled or wired close together, induced currents will adversely affect the switch and load. Output protection circuit ■When connecting and using inductive loads (relays, solenoid valves, etc.) A surge voltage is generated when the switch is OFF, so be sure to provide a protection circuit on the load side. ■When connecting a capacitive load (capacitor, etc.) or extending the cord over 10m An inrush current will occur when the switch is turned on, so be sure to install a protection circuit (resistor or choke coil) as shown in the diagram. ■Wiring Do not apply any load to the switch cord, such as bending or pulling it. In particular, take measures such as fixing the switch cord so that no load is applied to the base of the switch cord. ■Detectable cylinder piston speed Please note that if the piston speed is too fast, the switch will operate, but the time it will operate will be short and loads such as relays may not operate. ■Installation location ・Do not use in locations where the cylinder may be exposed to cutting oil directly. ・In locations where strong magnetic fields are generated in the surrounding area, provide a magnetic shield with an iron plate, etc. - Do not bring ferromagnetic materials (such as iron) close to the outer circumference of the cylinder body or near the switch. As a guide, keep the distance approximately 10 mm. - When using switch sets next to each other, please pay attention to the following points when installing them. (1) Even if switch sets are installed adjacent to each other, if the switches are in the position shown in the diagram on the right, there is no problem even if the cylinder bodies are brought close together until they touch. (2) It is preferable not to install the switch on side A, but if it is unavoidable, please keep the distance between the cylinder bodies approximately 15mm or more. Also, please leave some space for your safety.
