About This Product

■Connection

- Do not use a load that exceeds the switch's operating voltage/current and maximum contact capacity. - Do not connect the power supply directly to the switch. Be sure to connect via a specified load such as a relay or programmable controller. - If a large amount of surge voltage is generated in the surrounding area, or if a coil (relay, etc.) that generates surge voltage is used as a load, install a protection circuit in parallel with the load to protect the switch. - Please note that the operation confirmation lamp may not light up if the switch is used below the operating voltage and current.

■Wiring

- Do not apply loads such as bending or pulling to the switch cord. In particular, take measures such as fixing the switch cord so that no load is applied to the base of the switch cord. - Do not connect the switch directly. The operation confirmation lamp may not light up or the load may not operate due to voltage drop caused by the switch itself. - Do not connect switches in parallel. The signal is output normally, but the operation confirmation lamp may not light up. ・Keep the switch cord as far away from other electrical equipment as possible. If wires are bundled or wired close together, induced current will adversely affect the switch and load. ・If you extend the switch cord by more than 10m, or if you connect it to an AC input programmable controller or capacitive load (capacitor, etc.), an inrush current will be generated when the switch is turned on, so be sure to connect a protection circuit as shown in the diagram. Please set it up.

■Detectable cylinder piston speed

- When setting the switch to an intermediate position, please keep the cylinder maximum speed within 300mm/s due to the response speed of load relays, etc. ・Please note that if the piston speed is too fast, the switch will operate, but the time the switch will operate will be short and loads such as relays may not operate.

■Installation location

・In locations where strong magnetic fields are generated in the surrounding area, provide a magnetic shield with an iron plate, etc. - Do not bring ferromagnetic materials (such as iron) close to the outer circumference of the cylinder body or near the switch. As a guide, keep the distance at least 20mm. - Do not use in locations where the switch and wiring may be submerged in water or oil.
