About This Product

The S108 Absolute O2 Analyzer is the most flexible and accurate oxygen analyzer on the market. It uses a fuel cell sensor that operates at ambient temperature, unlike the power-hungry zirconium sensor. The sensor incorporates an acidic electrolyte and a Teflon diffusion membrane.

pO2 measurements are accurate over the entire range from 0% to 100%. For animal and human respiration measurements, the S108 Absolute O2 Analyzer can be used in conjunction with our S158 CO2 Analyzer to measure respiration. Respirometric measurements of smaller, less active organisms consist of stopped-flow or closed gas exchange systems.

Calibration is easy and requires only dry ambient air (use zero N2 gas for the most rigorous measurements) and maintains linearity over the entire dynamic range. We recommend using S108 with C901 Logger Pro software or other data acquisition software.
