About This Product
A partial flume is installed in the middle of a rectangular waterway. The flow that enters the flume increases in velocity at the constriction section, and reaches a critical flow at the throat section. There is a fixed relationship between the water level on the upstream side of the throat and the flow rate, so the flow rate can be determined by measuring the water level on the upstream side.Also, since there is little sedimentation or accumulation of solids in the fluid, it is possible to prevent water leaks from agricultural water, sewerage, and dams. It is used for flow rate observation such as volume measurement.
The partial flume has a lower head loss of about 1/4 compared to the Seki type, so it is suitable for measuring waterways where the head is not very large. Materials include metal plate, stainless steel, and integrally molded FRP/GRP.
*It is possible to manufacture a split type for easy portability and change the size of the water level gauge fixing part as a custom specification.
