About This Product

A fully automatic expander is a device that stretches the dicing tape after dicing. It automatically separates and expands the wafer attached to the tape, fixes it to the grip ring, cuts the tape, and separates it from the dicing frame.

■Operation

Take out the dicing frame supplied in the cassette one by one, heat the tape, stretch it, fit the grip ring, and cut the dicing tape (separate the grip ring). The grip ring separated from the dicing frame is stored in a grip ring cassette, and the dicing frame is stored in a dicing frame cassette for recovery.

■Frame reversal function (downward expansion) *Patent pending

Allows debris generated during expansion to fall downwards, preventing it from adhering to the chip after expansion.

■High-precision expand stage

High-precision tape expansion using motor control achieves more uniform and continuous expansion. Stage stroke 0-50mm. Expansion speed can be set from 0.1mm/sec. A wide range of expansion recipe settings are possible, including low stroke expansion and low speed expansion. (*Patent pending)

■Static neutralization blow function

The workpiece during expansion is cleaned using static neutralizing air from the ionizer. Effective in preventing particle adhesion.

■Stage temperature control function

Equipped with a stage that can be set to MAX80℃.
