About This Product

This high voltage pulse power supply uses a particularly high voltage, large current, and high speed element among MOS-FETs to generate extremely high voltage pulses of ±6kV at an extremely high frequency of 2MHz. It can also generate a very high peak output of 360kW. In order to operate stably at high voltages, large currents, and high frequencies, the main circuit board and control board are designed to suppress noise generation and to be difficult to malfunction due to noise.

Furthermore, if the load malfunctions, the abnormality is detected extremely quickly, the MOS-FET gate is stopped, and emergency shutdown is performed. The time from abnormality occurrence to MOS-FET shutoff is extremely fast, so it can be used with confidence even when load abnormalities occur frequently. Of course, we also conduct noise tests to confirm that there are no malfunctions or abnormal operations.

This ultra-high repetition rate high voltage pulse power supply generates 2MHz pulses with plenty of margin by minimizing stray inductance and stray capacitance in the circuit, and as a result, has a highly efficient and compact design. In the future, it is expected to be applied to pulsed laser power supplies, semiconductor plasma processing, surface modification, etc.
