Use as a grid. It has a SINE wave-like grating shape, and because it is created optically, the grating shape and grating frequency are very good. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a spectrum with high resolution and very little stray light, but the peak diffraction ability is low, and it is possible to obtain a constant efficiency over a wide wavelength band.
