About This Product
A simple spectroscope with a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm, ideal for viewing wavelengths of flames and gas spectrum tubes in classrooms.
This spectrometer uses a thin slit to introduce light and separates it into spectra based on the difference in refractive index.
*You look through a slit into the object's light source, so even though you can see the spectrum, it does not function as a finder to see the object.
You can observe not only the familiar fluorescent lights and incandescent light bulbs, but also small light sources such as miniature light bulbs. By the way, when using a transparent glass incandescent light bulb, it is a good idea to compare the light of the tungsten filament with a metal wire such as a heating wire or stainless steel wire with a gas burner.
