About This Product
Non-contact, continuous, online measurement of important process parameters such as unit area weight, coating weight, thickness, and moisture content. It is a modular system that can also record and control. The sensor traverses the web product and measures across its entire width. You can choose from a variety of sensor lineups depending on the measurement target.
Sensor type
■[Beta ray] Weight/thickness Gravimat DFI
Beta ray transmission attenuation method. The weight measurement control system continuously measures the unit area weight (g/m2) of a running web in a non-contact, non-destructive manner. (International patented)
■[Soft X-ray] Weight/Thickness Gravimat FMX-T
This is an X-ray transmission absorption sensor with an X-ray tube voltage of less than 5kV. (No radiation handling qualification or permission application required)
■[Infrared rays] Moisture content/weight Infrascope NIR
This is an infrared absorption type sensor. InfraScope NIR uses a single sensor to measure the weight and moisture content of web products through infrared energy analysis of transmitted or reflected light from the web product.
■[Near infrared rays] Moisture content/weight Infralot IMF
This is a near-infrared sensor. Infralot IMF optically analyzes energy in the near-infrared region and continuously measures moisture content and weight with one sensor.
■[Microwave Resonance] Water content Aqualot HMF
This is a microwave transmission/absorption type sensor. Aqualot HMF uses microwave application technology to measure web moisture non-contact.
■[Laser Trigonometry] Thickness Calipro DML
Laser trigonometry sensor. The Calipro DML optical system uses online laser triangulation to measure web product thickness and coating thickness with high precision.
■[Light band shading] Thickness Calipro DMS
A light band is irradiated onto the product running on high-precision guide rolls, and the thickness is calculated from the difference between the roll distance and the non-shading dimension.
■[White light interference] Thickness Optoscope WLI
It is possible to measure the thickness of transparent coatings on films and single-layer films using white light interference phenomena. Both individual layer thickness and single layer thickness can be measured.
■[Airflow] Breathability Air Pro APM
Air pressure drop sensor. Online traverse measurements of air permeability and air pressure drop are possible.
