About This Product

■PLUS 2 Power & Energy Meter (Display)

The Plus 2 is a handheld, lightweight touchscreen meter designed by Laserpoint to measure the optical power/energy of lasers and other light sources. The Plus 2 meter is compatible with Laserpoint thermopile and photodiode sensors. Featuring a 4.3-inch color touchscreen display and an intuitive, ergonomic graphical user interface, all features are available with one or two touches. This device uses a USB rechargeable lithium battery to operate with up to 15 hours of operating time.

■Wavelength setting

・“edit lambda” Select a common laser wavelength. ・“edit nm” If displayed, enter the wavelength (nm).

■Manual or automatic power range

You can adjust the measurement full scale or range to suit your needs by touching the “Range” screen button and scrolling to select a range option. Selection can be made by selecting 'Manual' or 'Automatic' mode.

■Offset and zero

・Offset level with “Zero” screen button ・Manual zero adjustment: Executed by holding down the zero button. If you select “Yes”, “Wait for zeroing” will be displayed, the ADC will be reset and “Zeroing Completed” will be displayed.

■Power and energy mode

・Offset level with “Zero” screen button ・Use the “Mode” button to switch between power measurement mode and energy measurement mode. The unit of measurement changes depending on the sensor head.

■Single shot and burst energy measurement

-Measures the integrated energy of a single shot or two or more pulses. When you select energy mode, the green LED will light up. ・“Acquisition” message: Single pulse or multi-pulse, depending on the laser head, the energy will be displayed after 1 to 5 seconds of recording.

■Setting energy threshold

Set to not respond to pulses below the configured energy threshold.
