About This Product

Heated wood asphalt (Harmony Road Wood) is an environmentally friendly paving material made by turning waste wood and thinned wood into chips and heating and mixing the wood chips and heated asphalt. It is mainly used for park walkways, jogging courses, cycling roads, and architectural exteriors, including some parking lots. It is also thought that its use on public sidewalks will expand in the future.

Wood (wood chips) has low heat storage capacity and excellent insulation performance, making it difficult for heat to accumulate underground, making it suitable for urban heat island countermeasures. Additionally, by fixing waste wood and thinned wood to sidewalks, it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions that would otherwise be produced when incinerated.
