■Features
・The reversible motor is a capacitor-type single-phase induction motor and has the same general features as an induction motor.
- A simple brake device is built-in, and the main and sub-coils have the same structure, allowing frequent forward and reverse operation.
・Since the starting torque is large, it is possible to change from forward rotation to reverse rotation, and from reverse rotation to forward rotation in a short time.
- The brake's holding power prevents overrun when stopping and stops the motor instantly.
- Rated operating time is 30 minutes.
・The rotation speed, torque, voltage, and capacitor values of reversible motors are the same as those of induction motors.
■Brake structure
The simple brake has a structure in which the brake rod and brake wheel are pressed together by a spring, and the braking force is approximately 10% of the motor output torque.
■Operating time and temperature rise
・Although the reversible motor is rated for 30 minutes, the operating time will vary depending on the operating conditions even when performing short-term intermittent operation.
- If a reversible motor is used intermittently for short periods of time, a large current will flow when the motor starts and reverses rotation, increasing heat generation. However, if the motor is stopped for a long time, the natural cooling effect when stopped will be reduced. This greatly reduces the temperature rise of the motor.
■General specifications of reversible motor
- Insulation resistance: The value measured between the motor coil and case with a 500V DC megger after the motor's rated operation at room temperature and humidity is 100MΩ or more.
・Dielectric strength voltage: No abnormality will be observed even if 50/60Hz, 1.5KV is applied between the motor coil and case for 1 minute after the motor is operated at its rated value at room temperature and humidity.
・Temperature rise: The jacket temperature rise measured with a thermometer after running the motor at its rated value is 60°C or less. (Motor with fan is below 45℃)
