■Calibration on the bus
The WIKA calibration bath is an ideal temperature source for calibrating temperature probes, such as in a calibration laboratory. Bring the test item and reference thermometer to the same temperature in the calibration bath. As soon as a stable temperature is reached, the test item is read or its output signal is measured and compared with a reference thermometer.
In order to reduce the measurement uncertainty in this comparative calibration, a temperature control unit is required that guarantees a homogeneous temperature distribution and constant temperature within the calibration range. By using this calibration bath, along with the calibration bath, the bath liquid also plays an important role. The applied fluid has high thermal conductivity and low viscosity to ensure homogeneous temperature distribution.
Additionally, the fluid should be inert, have a low vapor pressure, should not chemically decompose, should not combust, and should maintain its properties over a wide temperature range. Actually, silicone oil is used.
■Two types of calibration buses can be selected.
・Model CTB9400 for 28 ... 300 °C (82.4 ... 572 °F)
・Model CTB9500 for -45 ... +200 °C (-49 ... +392 °F)
■Easy operability
This calibration bath features a temperature-controlled tank that can be used up to 200mm (7.87") deep. Test items with a maximum insertion length of 200mm (7.87") reduce heat dissipation errors and measurement uncertainties. Reduce.
