Deadweight pressure balances (deadweight testers) are the most accurate products in the electrical and mechanical pressure measuring instrument industry. In addition to the direct measurement of pressure (p=F/A), this high-quality standard also offers very low measurement errors and long-term stability. Deadweight pressure balances (dead weight testers) have been used for many years in factories, calibration laboratories in the manufacturing industry, and national research institutes and laboratories.
■Independent operation
The CPB5000HP, which combines a pressure generator and a mechanical measuring mechanism, can be used in on-site maintenance and service industries.
■Basic principle
The generated pressure is defined by the quotient of the vertical downward force and the effective cross-sectional area. The main component of the model CPB5800 is a highly precisely manufactured piston-cylinder system that is loaded with weights to provide individual test points. The weight is proportional to the working pressure and achieves the optimum overload to reach the desired pressure. As standard, these weights are manufactured with standard gravity (9.80655m/s^2), but can also be adapted to customer-specific installation locations as well as DKD/DAkkS calibrations.

- Measurement records at the factory include those that can be traced to national standards as standard. DKD/DAkkS calibration is also available as an option if required.
