About This Product

■Certification that it is a standard device

Dead weight testers are the most accurate measurement products in the electrical and mechanical pressure measurement industry. In addition to the direct measurement of pressure (p=F/A), this high-quality standard also offers very low measurement errors and long-term stability. Therefore, it has been used for a long time in national institutions, laboratories, and calibration laboratories.

■Independent operation

Combining a pressure generator and a mechanical measuring mechanism, the CPB5800 deadweight tester can be used in on-site maintenance and service industries.

■Basic principle

The generated pressure is defined by the quotient of the vertical downward force and the effective cross-sectional area. The main component of the model CPB5800 deadweight tester is a highly precisely manufactured piston-cylinder system that is loaded with weights to provide individual test points. The load on the weight is proportional to the working pressure, and the desired pressure is achieved with the optimal overload. As standard, these weights are manufactured with standard gravity (9.80665 m/s^2), but can be adapted to customer-specific installations as well as UKAS calibration.

■Features of dead weight tester

・Accuracy is reading value ±0.006% A highly flexible instrument with a wide range of single or dual scale piston cylinder systems. ・Double scale piston cylinder system with fully automatic range change - Measurement records at the factory include those that can be traced to national standards as standard. UKAS calibration is also available as an option if required. ・The piston cylinder system can be replaced quickly and safely, and the patented ConTect system, which is easy to install and remove, is available as an option.

■Applications of dead weight tester

・Can be used as the main standard for calibration in hydraulic ranges up to 1,400 bar (20,000 psi) - Calibrator for testing, adjustment, and pressure gauges as a reference device in factories and calibration rooms. ・Ideal for on-site use as it is an independent calibrator
