Deadweight pressure balances (deadweight testers) are the most accurate products in the electrical and mechanical pressure measuring instrument industry. In addition to the direct measurement of pressure (p=F/A), this high-quality standard also offers very low measurement errors and long-term stability. Deadweight pressure balances (dead weight testers) have been used for many years in factories, calibration laboratories in the manufacturing industry, and national research institutes and laboratories.
■Independent operation
Combining a pressure generator and a mechanical measuring mechanism, the CPB3800HP can be used in on-site maintenance and service industries.
■Basic principle
The generated pressure is defined by the quotient of the vertical downward force and the effective cross-sectional area. The main component of the CPB3800HP is a precisely manufactured piston ring system that allows measurements to be taken at each measurement point. The movement of the weight is proportional to the working pressure to obtain the optimum overload and reach the desired pressure. As standard, these weights are manufactured with standard gravity (9.80665m/s^2), but can be adapted to customer-specific installations as well as UKAS calibration.

・Total measurement uncertainty is ±0.007% of the measured value
- With two range configuration, it can handle up to 2,600bar (40,000psi) and can automatically change the range if it is within the range.
- Measurement records at the factory include those that can be traced to national standards as standard. UKAS calibration is also available as an option if required.
・The weight is made of stainless steel and can adapt to local gravity.
