About This Product

■Applications

Air Data Test Instrument Model CPA2501 is an altimeter, airspeed meter, altitude display, airspeed display, altitude display (linear airspeed), airspeed display (acceleration) in altitude and airspeed applications. It is used when calibrating etc. It is required in any application in avionics instrumentation or calibration equipment where high precision is required.

■Function

The CPA2501 can set the altitude channel and airspeed channel by Ps/Pt or Ps/Qc. Ps only as a single channel altitude/altitude ratio instrument, Qc only as a single channel airspeed/airspeed ratio instrument, or Ps/Pt or Ps/Qc as a dual channel unit. You can do it. The airspeed/airspeed ratio channel in the Ps/Pt version is a calculation channel. The optional barometer can be configured to display on the front panel or as a separate channel. The pressure range of each channel can be specified by the customer.

■Communication

The user interface manual is displayed on the large screen display and touch panel. The intuitive menu structure within the navigation makes it easy to understand. Clear touch panel icons allow access to instrument configuration and calibration screens. Communication to the remote computer was achieved via RS-232, IEEE-488, USB or Ethernet. Communication commands are similar to older Mensah avionics gauge models 2108 and 2109 or the WIKA command set "SPI".
