■Product explanation
Model BLR reed sensors are used to connect with transmitters and continuously monitor and record liquid levels. The sensor (permanent magnet, reed switch and resistance measuring chain) is a 3-wire potentiometer circuit that operates on the same principle as magnetic transmission. A magnetic system within the float operates a measuring chain of reed contacts (potentiometer) through the outer wall of the bypass vessel and the sensor tube. The measurement voltage thereby generated is proportional to the liquid level. The resistance measurement chain consists of lead contacts and a resistor soldered to the PCB. Contact spacing can be selected from 5 to 8 mm depending on requirements and design.
