■Product description
The photoelectric OEM level switch model OLS-C04 is suitable for liquid level monitoring. A photoelectric sensor consists of an infrared LED and a receiver. Light from the LED passes through a prism that forms the tip of the sensor. When the tip is not immersed in liquid, the light is reflected within the prism to the receiving device.
As the water level rises in the collection tank and submerges the tip, the light beam is blocked by the liquid. Therefore, the reactor cannot detect the light and the trigger switch reacts. The switching state can be read directly via a sensor (red LED). The model OLS-C04 level switch has a glass prism fuse housed within a metal case, making it suitable for cooling installations.
