■Developed for oil and fuel use
The underwater pressure sensor model LF-1 was developed specifically for oil and fuel level measurements. Extensive durability testing ensures continued durability and long service life in oil and fuel applications, as well as in aggressive crude oil and biofuel applications. Highly alloyed stainless steel with a newly developed chemical composition and a special cable with optional lightning protection overvoltage protection make the submersible pressure sensor perfectly suited for outdoor use as well as oil and fuel applications. ■Accurate level and temperature measurement using HART® communication
For storage tank monitoring, LF-1 has an uncertainty of up to 0.5%, a long-term drift of 0.1%, and only a small temperature error, making it a reliable measurement method. The optional analog temperature output function allows for easy temperature error correction in the temperature range -40 ... +80 °C. Built-in HART® communication allows scaling of measurement ranges, units, error signals, and other parameterization.
