About This Product
■Explanation of glass gauge
The main element of a glass gauge is the main body.A water tube (sometimes a heating conduit), a chamber with a sealed seat, and a direct viewing glass are attached to the body. The body can be fitted with a valve head and a connecting fitting, or it is already included. A drain or vent can also be installed if necessary.
The glass and mica plate are fixed with U-shaped bolts and sealed with a cover or pressure frame. The glass for the glass gauge uses borosilicate glass that complies with the DIN7081 standard. In the case of steam, glass can be used up to 243℃, and mica specifications can be used up to 300℃. For other media, temperatures up to 300 °C and, in special versions, up to 374 °C are possible. Certain applications require the use of mica plates.
