About This Product

■Product description

The top-mounted level indicator model UTN consists of a measuring chamber, a float with guide rod and a magnetic system. Attachment to the vessel to be measured takes place via suitable process connections (flanges, screws). A permanent magnet system connected to the float via a guide rod transmits the liquid level measured by the float in the container without contact to a magnetic indicator mounted outside the measuring chamber. This magnetic indicator has bar-shaped magnets attached to red or white plastic rollers or stainless steel flaps at 10mm intervals. This magnetic roller or flap rotates 180 degrees through the wall of the measuring chamber. As the water level rises, it changes from white to red, and as the water level falls, it changes from red to white. In this way, the magnetic display will display the level of the container being measured as a red column even without power.
