About This Product
■Overview of level meter
The level meter model BNA consists of a communication tube and a bypass tube and is attached to the side of the measuring vessel by means of two or more process connections (flanges, screws, welds). This construction of the level meter ensures that the water level in the bypass pipe matches that in the measuring vessel. A float with a built-in permanent magnet inside the bypass pipe communicates the water level without contacting a magnetic indicator mounted outside the bypass pipe. Two colored plastic rollers with bar magnets or stainless steel flaps spaced 10 mm apart.
The display element responds to the magnetic field of the permanent magnet in the float through the wall of the bypass tube and flips by 180°. As the water level rises, it changes from white to red, and as the water level falls, it changes from red to white. Based on this principle, the water level in the measuring container is accurately displayed even without a power source.
