About This Product

■Product description The overpressure protector consists of a spring-loaded piston valve. Under normal pressure conditions, the spring holds the valve open. When the system pressure exceeds the set pressure, the force applied by the spring overcomes and the valve closes. The valve remains closed until the system pressure drops approximately 25% below the set pressure, after which the spring force opens the valve. Refer to the data sheet for initial settings. To change the setting: Turn the adjustment screw clockwise ⇒ increase the set pressure (or counterclockwise ⇒ decrease the set pressure) Do not use the overpressure protector as a control device. ■Initial settings The protector is set to 1.1 times the full scale value when ordered with the pressure gauge. ■Connection screw ・Form A: G ½ male / female ・Form B: ½ NPT male / female ■Valve body (wetted part) Material selection: Brass (steel union nut, anti-corrosion) or stainless steel (stainless steel 316Ti union nut)
