Model APGT43 intelliGAUGE (U.S. Patent No. 8,030,990 ) can be used. The combination of a high-quality mechanical measuring system and an accurate electrical signal processing system ensures that the process pressure is known reliably, even in the event of a power failure.
intelliGAUGE model APGT43.1x0 meets all safety-related requirements of relevant standards and regulations for on-site indication of the operating pressure of pressure vessels. The mechanical pointer allows you to read pressure values even in such situations. Model APGT43 is based on the high performance stainless steel pressure gauge model 532.54 in sizes 100 or 160. Pressure gauges are manufactured in accordance with EN837-3.
A durable diaphragm measuring system allows the pointer to rotate proportionally to pressure. An electrical angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer axis. Since this is a non-contact sensor, there is no need to worry about wear or friction. This electrical signal is proportional to pressure and can produce a 4...20mA output.
The electronic WIKA transmitter integrated into a high-quality mechanical pressure gauge combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with the advantages of a local mechanical display. The measurement span (electrical output signal) is automatically set on the mechanical display and the range is shown as corresponding to 4...20mA. Electrical zero point is also set automatically.
