If you have limited space and want to display the process pressure on-site and at the same time send the signal to a central controller or remote control room, you can use the model PGT23.063 intelliGAUGE (patent application, European Patent EP 06113003). The combination of mechanical measurement system and electronic signal processing ensures that the process pressure can be read reliably even in the event of a loss of power.
Model PGT23.063 intelliGAUGE meets all safety-related requirements of relevant standards and regulations for on-site indication of the operating pressure of pressure vessels. This eliminates the need for an additional mechanical pressure gauge and saves measurement points. Model PGT23.063 is based on a high quality stainless steel pressure gauge in size 63 safety pattern version model 23x.30. Pressure gauges are manufactured in accordance with EN837-1.
Durable, fully welded Bourdon tube measuring system rotates the pointer proportional to pressure. Electronic angle encoders, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, are non-contact sensors that determine the position of the pointer shaft without wear or friction. This generates an electrical output signal of 4...20 mA proportional to the pressure.
The electronic WIKA transmitter integrated into a high-quality mechanical pressure gauge combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with the advantages of a local mechanical display. The measurement span (electrical output signal) is automatically set on the mechanical display and the range is shown as corresponding to 4...20mA.
