■Product description
Model PGT 21intelliGAUGE® is a combination of a Bourdon tube pressure gauge and a pressure transmitter. It provides a regular analog display and an analog output signal (4-20 mA or DC 0.5-4.5 V) that allows you to read the process pressure in the field.
The Bourdon tube measurement method is based on EN837-1 and is manufactured so that the rotation of the pointer is proportional to the pressure. An electrical angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer axis. Since this is a non-contact sensor, there is no need to worry about wear or friction. It is then supplied as a pressure proportional coefficient signal.
intelliGAUGE® has a scale range from 0 to 1.6 bar to 0 to 400 bar and comes standard with an accuracy class of 2.5 and a 2 m cable for electrical connection. The stainless steel case meets the requirements of protection class IP65. Silicone oil can also be sealed inside the case to cope with amplified shocks and vibrations. This equipment is best suited for use in harsh industrial environments.
Various options (e.g. higher precision classes, other cable lengths) allow pressure instruments to be precisely adapted to the customer-specific requirements of each application.
