intelliGAUGE's PGT23 (patented for European Patent No. 06113003, among other patents) can be used at any location where there is a need to provide on-site indication of process pressure and at the same time send signals to a central control unit or remote control room. You can use it. Even if the power supply is lost, the combination of a mechanical measurement system and an accurate electrical signal processing system ensures that the process pressure can be read reliably.
intelliGAUGE's model PGT23 meets the requirements of relevant safety standards and regulations as a field indicator for pressure vessel operating pressures. The mechanical pointer allows you to read pressure values even in such situations. The high-quality version PGT23, based on model 23x.30, is a safe pressure gauge in stainless steel type with nominal diameter 100 or 160. Pressure gauges are manufactured in accordance with EN837-1.
The all-welded, rugged Bourdon tube measuring system produces pointer rotation proportional to pressure. An electrical angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer axis. Since this is a non-contact sensor, there is no need to worry about wear or friction. This produces an electrical output signal of 4...20 mA that is proportional to the pressure.
The electronic WIKA transmitter combines the advantages of an electrical signal transmitter with the advantages of an analog display for on-site confirmation in a high-quality mechanical pressure gauge. The measurement span (electrical output signal) is automatically set on the mechanical display and the range is shown as corresponding to 4...20mA. Electrical zero point is also set automatically.
