Features of SPC coupling
■Lubricant-free/maintenance-free
Since there are no sliding or rolling parts, no lubricating oil is required. Therefore, there is no noise or wear, and all you need to do during inspection is to visually inspect the disc element and check the tightening condition of bolts and nuts.
■Non-backlash/High rigidity
All power transmission is done by frictional coupling, so there is no backlash. In addition, it has high torsional rigidity and little elastic deformation, allowing accurate shaft rotation without uneven rotation.
■High torque/high rotation
It has high transmission torque and is well-balanced through high-precision machining, so it can be used at high speeds.
■Large allowable misalignment
The allowable angular displacement is 1°. The allowable parallel displacement increases with the length of the spacer. In addition, the disc element flexibly responds to various displacements and does not generate unnecessary thrust force on the bearings of each part.
■Long life and excellent environmental resistance
Since it is made entirely of metal and does not require lubrication, it will not deteriorate over time due to wear. It also has excellent environmental resistance against dust, high temperatures, and low temperatures, and can withstand long-term use.
■Safe mechanism
The disc element is made of laminated stainless steel thin plates, so even if the disc element is damaged due to an overload or sudden accident, all the disc elements will not be damaged at once and can be easily removed through the reamer bolt and washer. It is possible to transmit power.
