Until now, fans for showcases were mainly driven by shaded motors. The efficiency of these motors is very low at around 18% and therefore releases 82% of the energy as heat lost to the showcase. This increases cooling load and energy consumption. Meanwhile, Ziehl-Abegg's highly efficient ECQ motor series has an efficiency of up to 65%. Therefore, these motors counteract huge heat losses and are much better in terms of low energy consumption. Three rotation speeds are freely programmable via USB connection. Particularly in the field of retrofitting, this allows you to easily convert existing systems to new energy-saving technologies and save costs.
