About This Product

■Product description

Sideria is a composite fiber of nylon and polyurethane created using KB Seiren's specialty conjugate technology. By applying heat treatment, self-crimping occurs and appropriate elasticity can be obtained. Product features and technical background

■Beautiful knitted fabric surface

Heat treatment results in uniform spiral crimp and a beautiful knitted surface.

■Soft power elasticity

It has a moderate tightness that can't be achieved with coverings, a soft fit that doesn't make you realize you're wearing it, and it minimizes stuffiness in the summer heat, making it popular both in Japan and abroad.

■Transparency

Made of nylon and urethane, it is thin and has excellent transparency that cannot be achieved with a covering.

■Smooth feeling

It has excellent stretch back properties and is soft enough to stretch with low stress. Even with low count filament, it feels soft and smooth (not rough).

■Handling precautions

・Since it has excellent heat setting properties, care must be taken regarding the finishing temperature. ・High-pressure dyeing and same-bath dyeing with polyester are not possible due to heat setting properties. ・Polyurethane generally tends to yellow easily, so avoid direct exposure to NOx gas, sunlight, or fluorescent lights for long periods of time. - Allow at least 24 hours of conditioning time (indoor aging) before using the yarn. ・Polyurethane tends to cause problems when used at low temperatures (below 10℃), so avoid handling the yarn in low-temperature environments.
