Achieves efficiency and high reproducibility. The fully automatic pretreatment system "LAXIM™" can automate all pretreatment processes, from life science research to microbial testing. We contribute to the construction of systems that suit the operation of a variety of testing rooms.

Main features of LAXIM™
■Wide expandabilityPretreatment of specimens for all types of research and testing is possible. Programming can be customized with detailed condition settings* according to the customer's sample.

Setting example: Preparative separation (stirring), supernatant collection, supernatant replacement, temperature adjustment, etc.

■Overwhelmingly speedyEquipped with Kawasaki Heavy Industries' innovative dual-arm robot duAro. Controlling up to 10 axes allows all types of processing to be performed at overwhelming speed in a compact space for one worker. Lead time can be shortened by performing separate tasks with both arms.

■Designed with safety in mindThe device is protected by an acrylic cover, and the opening is designed with a light curtain and door sensor to prevent accidents. In addition to using a soft surface material for the robot arm, even if a worker comes into contact with it during operation, it will detect the impact and stop, making it possible to perform collaborative work in the same space as humans.

Main features of LAXIM™
■Preparative dispensing・Dispensing amount: 100 μl to 5 ml can be dispensed at once. 5ml or more can be handled by repeating the operation.
・Dispensing accuracy: CV1.0% or less, absolute volume within ±3% (when half-scale dispensing with tip specifications) Possible to dispense from 50ml centrifuge tube to 1.5ml Eppendorf tube.
・Can process with high accuracy within ±1%.

■Centrifugation- The built-in centrifuge allows centrifugation under a wide range of conditions from 100 x g to 8,000 x g.
・Four 50ml centrifuge tubes and eight 1.5ml microtubes can be set at the same time.
・Rotation time: Can be set from 30s to any time.

■ Stirring- Pipetting, vortexing.
・Arbitrary settings can be made in 1 second increments.

■Others・Usable tubes: 50ml centrifuge tube (Thermo easy-flip cap), 1.5ml microtube
・Target chip size: 5ml chip and 1ml chip
