■Isolation and concentration of stem cells

It is possible to separate and concentrate necessary cells such as stem cells from a mixture of multiple types of cells such as tissues. Conventionally, when culturing was repeated for cell purification, this method can be expected to shorten the culturing period.

■CTC/Rare cell separation

CTCs (circulating tumor cells) are concentrated and separated from blood without prior removal of red blood cells such as hemolysis. It can also be applied to rare cells other than CTCs.

■Removal of dead cells

Removes dead cells and debris mixed in the cell culture medium, as well as microparticles mixed in from the outside.

■Cell quality control

Changes in the state of cells, such as an increase in the percentage of dead cells during culture, can be detected by analyzing separation characteristics.

■Research and industrialization of animal cells

Since markers such as antibodies are not required for separation, this method is suitable for separating cells that have fewer specific markers compared to humans, such as bovine and porcine cells.

■Research and industrialization of microalgae

It is possible to separate microalgae from natural samples such as seawater. It is also expected to be used for the isolation and analysis of useful cells, such as the production of functional substances using microalgae. It can be used for various purposes other than those listed above, but the separation conditions must be optimized depending on the cell type and condition.
