About This Product

■Sun-S spring

With a rich lineup of 919 types of compression springs, 424 types of tension springs, 104 types of one-size-fits-all tension springs, and 270 types of torsion springs, we are always in stock and ready to deliver springs with stable performance in small quantities.

■CWS

A compression spring made by coiling a flat wire into a continuous wave shape. CWS, which exhibits stable "deflection" and excellent load capacity, contributes to a variety of applications such as reducing man-hours and downsizing products. In order to make this CWS known to more customers and to make it easier for them to pick it up, we have released San-S CWS as a new lineup from the "San-S Standard Spring" series, which has been our signature brand for some time.

■“Coild wave spring” with excellent space-saving properties and attractive “deflection” with a sense of stability

A wide variety of compression springs contribute to downsizing products, improving quality, and reducing man-hours. CWS is an abbreviation for coiled wave spring, and it is a compression spring made of flat wire material that is especially suitable for static load applications. (A small “deflection (stroke)” can also handle dynamic loads.) They are useful for downsizing products, improving quality, and reducing man-hours because of their high stability and parallelism of deflection when compressed, and because they require less installation space than regular compression springs. In addition, by changing the number of threads and turns, the spring constant and load characteristics can be varied in a variety of ways, making it a spring with a high degree of freedom. For example, it is possible to create compression springs that have a large diameter and a low load while maintaining stability in deflection. We manufacture CWS using our own processing method, leveraging our many years of experience and know-how in manufacturing irregularly shaped wire springs. Strengths of CWS

■Size and weight reduction

The load can be stronger than normal compression springs, and the installation height can save space. Contributes to miniaturization of products. (50% space saving compared to coil springs)

■Stable deflection

Since the spring is structured so that the entire spring receives the load evenly, it provides high stability and parallelism in the "bending (stroke)" during compression. Environmentally friendly CWS

■Contribute to reduce activities

Disc springs and wave washers always produce offcuts, but CWS almost never produces offcuts, thus contributing to reduce (waste) activities.
