About This Product

■ What is UV silicone ink?

The silicone ink for UV is an ink with excellent UV reflectors developed based on white silicone ink for visible light. The binder silicone resin is a material with excellent UV-permeability, as it is used as a UV-LED lens. Materials with excellent UV -permeability have little absorption of UV light, so they hardly inhibit the performance of the inkifiller functioning as a reflective material. In general resin binders, it is difficult to develop inks with excellent UV reflections because the resin binder absorbs UV light. The Asahi Rubber is using Opty products to propose transparent silicone resin (transparent silicone rubber) and UV silicone ink as a member that can greatly contribute to UV -related markets.

■ Applications and features

Based on the growth of equipment such as UV exposure machines and curing markets such as UV adhesive and UV hardened ink, future growth is expected to be used for living environment and medical equipment, such as sterilization applications.

■ Product category by reflected wavelength

The white silicone ink for UV is based on the white ink for visible light, and some products have improved the reflectivity of ultraviolet rays (UV).

■ UV resistance / protection

The UV white silicone ink is very resistant to UVs and protects the coating from UV light at the same time, so that the UV resistance is enhanced by painting where UV light deteriorates.
