Features

■High rigidity

Rated load in XYZ directions: 250 [N], moment (rotation) direction: 18 [Nm]. It has a robust structure with little deformation even when large forces are applied. In particular, it has excellent characteristics such as being strong against force in the moment direction and resistant to torsion.

■High sensitivity

Achieves low noise level of 0.035 [N] and high resolution of 0.1 [N] (XYZ direction components). It has excellent resolution and can detect force with good responsiveness.

■Difficult work made possible by force sensor system

The force sensor (S250 series) provides robots with an appropriate sense of force, allowing them to perform tasks that rely on the force sense of an expert, such as precise tasks that cannot be handled by instruction or vision alone, or delicate tasks where the workpiece is fragile. Enables automation of production processes.

■Force sensor control software “Force Guide 7.0”

In addition to programming advanced force functions using traditional programming languages, you can easily create force sensor applications using "Force Guide 7.0." Simply select a force guide object icon to create a force sensor sequence without any complex programming. In addition, the simulator's movement direction display and force waveform display/recording functions allow debugging tasks, which were difficult to perform in the past, to be performed smoothly.

You can create a force sensor sequence by simply selecting an icon while checking the explanation. You can also check the overall flow with a flowchart.

■Simulator

You can check the robot's movement direction and the set force coordinate axes.

■Display and record force waveforms

You can check the force waveform in real time. Additionally, by loading saved waveforms, you can easily compare multiple conditions and check variations under the same conditions.

■Direct teaching function

Direct teaching is possible by using a force sensor and teaching pendant (TP2/TP3). Workers can teach by moving the robot with their hands and directly checking the hardness and softness of the object, how force is applied, etc.
