Basic performance
■High-speed scanning of approximately 85 images per minute (DS-970)
The DS-970 achieves a reading speed of approximately 85 pages/minute. Since it supports simultaneous double-sided reading, it is possible to read 170 sides (300dpi) of color A4 documents.
■High-speed scanning of approximately 65 images per minute (DS-870)
The DS-870 achieves a reading speed of approximately 65 pages/minute. Since it supports simultaneous double-sided reading, it is possible to read 130 sides (300dpi) of color A4 documents.
■Large paper feed capacity of 100 sheets
ADF (Auto Document Feeder) can feed 100 sheets. Even when scanning large amounts of documents, the effort of replenishing paper is minimized.
■Supports additional scans
During continuous scanning of multiple originals, you can add additional originals without interrupting the operation. ADF (Auto Document Feeder) has a paper feed capacity of more than 100 sheets, and even large documents can be scanned at high speed without stopping midway.
reliability
■Reduces the occurrence of double feeding
The use of a large-diameter paper feed roller increases the contact surface with the paper, making it possible to stabilize a variety of paper types. Furthermore, by rotating the paper separation roller in the opposite direction, paper suction is controlled and double feeding is prevented.
■“Double feed detection function” that detects double feed when feeding paper
Equipped with a "double feed detection function" that stops paper feeding in the unlikely event of double feeding. In addition to double feed detection using an ultrasonic sensor, it can also be detected based on the length of the paper being fed, so you can scan with confidence.
■"Double feed detection skip" when reading documents with labels attached
When the double-feed detection function is on, when a document with labels, etc. affixed to it is scanned, the machine determines that the paper is overlapping and activates the double-feed detection function. When scanning documents with labels, etc. affixed, you can temporarily turn off the double feed detection function using "Skip double feed detection.
