About This Product

This is a highly resilient EPDM rubber sponge with compression set as close to 0% as possible while maintaining softness, conformability, water resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance.

■Intended use

・Tsunami prevention bulkhead door packing ・Bathroom packing for housing equipment (apron water stop, drain, inspection port, etc.) ・Parts of various industrial equipment that have problems with reduced airtightness due to sagging

■Compression set 0%

Although EPDM sponge is soft and has high followability, its tendency to become stiff has been a problem for some time. Our SSF is a rubber sponge that retains the softness, conformability, water resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance of EPDM sponge, but has compression set as close to 0% as an added feature.

■We will solve these problems

While retaining the softness and followability of EPDM, it is possible to eliminate the problem of sagging. Superset Foam®SSF has a proven track record of over 10 years as a tsunami countermeasure for nuclear power plants and as a packing material for unit baths.

■You can design the shape according to the seal surface.

For sealing surfaces with low loads that are difficult to handle with standard shapes, we will design the optimal seal line with our proposed shape.

■You can choose from hardness

SSF is available in multiple hardnesses, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your usage conditions.
