The lens barrel is tilted at 45 degrees and rotates 360 degrees, allowing for easy observation by multiple people. This type uses a reflector to guide light to the objective lens, so another light source such as sunlight or an LED light is required. The total magnification of a microscope is obtained by multiplying the magnification of the eyepiece and the objective lens. Plankton, insect wings, leaf veins, etc. can be observed at around 50x magnification. A magnification of around 400x is sufficient for general learning.
