■W100 metallurgical description and application W100 (Stellite®3) is a hypereutectic cobalt-based alloy with excellent wear and corrosion resistance in harsh intake and high temperature exhaust applications. The secret to the success of this alloy is that it combines excellent wear and corrosion resistance, but is characterized by low thermal conductivity.
