■Speed up setup work WinTool supplies the tool presetter with accurate data about the tools used in the machining operation. The WinTool tool library constantly updates tool setup specifications and their change information, controls releases, and keeps the information up-to-date for smooth measurement work. The WinTool-Tool Presetter interface transfers tool data assigned in the NC program (including graphics, dimensions, measuring points, tolerances, adapter type, focus, etc.) from WinTool to the tool presetter. This speeds up tool setup operations and reduces human errors. The WinTool-Tool Presetter interface also integrates with the CNC process management module. Tool data measured with a tool presetter is generally transferred from the tool presetter to the machine, but it is also possible to import the measured tool data into WinTool and transfer it from WinTool to the machine.
