■LY: 1 gauge type LY linear strain gauge The LY series is a sensor for measuring strain in only one direction. LY1, LY2, LY4, LY5, LY6, LY7, and LY8 type strain gauges are available in a variety of geometries and sizes, with temperature responses matched to steel or aluminum (or customer-specified workpiece materials). Available. Strain gauges (SGs) are available in nominal (rated) resistance values of 120, 350, 700, and 1,000Ω. The measuring grid is made of constantan and the material holding the measuring grid is polyimide.
