This is a machine screw that is fastened using a female thread such as a nut, with a precision No. 0 cross recess whose head height has been made as thin and low as possible, and the tightening surface is as flat as possible. Also called cross-recessed thin head screws and ultra-thin flat head machine screws. It is 50-25% thinner than pan head machine screws or micro screws of the same diameter. Even after tightening, the screw head is almost flat and does not protrude, making the device more compact and lightweight, and safe with no snags. The head diameter is larger than that of a pan head machine screw with the same nominal diameter, and the wide seat surface increases the maximum tightening torque, exhibits a loosening effect, and suppresses cracking and deformation of fastened materials. Since counterboring is not required, it can also be used for thin plates, and is effective in reducing costs by simplifying preliminary processes. There is no need for additional processing to sink the head, and cost reductions can be expected by simplifying the manufacturing process.
