These are screws and bolts with knobs that can be easily tightened by hand, also called butterfly screws or butterfly bolts. It is so called because the knob is shaped like a butterfly wing. In English, this part is compared to a wing and is called a "wing bolt." Used in food machinery, medical equipment, machine tools, agricultural machinery, lighting equipment, and other locations where repeated attachment and detachment are required and tightening strength is not required. There are standards for butterfly bolts ranging from type 1 to type 3. Type 1 (the knob end is semi-circular) and Type 2 (the knob is further divided into the small R-type knob, which is square at the end, and the large H-type knob) have a heavy knob and a luxurious feel. Type 3 (the knob is hollow during press processing from a steel plate) is relatively light and inexpensive.
