Model Description

We set the allowable torque, compatible shaft diameter, etc. based on the specifications and dimensions of the latest servo motors to best match the latest servo motors from each company. The model lineup includes a clamp method with good assembly workability and a highly reliable wedge fastening method. Both achieve an allowable torque that is more than 1.5 times (maximum) compared to our conventional models. This makes it possible to downsize the coupling and also contributes to reducing the moment of inertia. You can also choose from a wide range of variations, including compatibility with tapered shafts of servo motors. Features ■High rigidity/high torque In pursuit of the ideal shape, we have significantly increased rigidity and allowable torque using a newly developed element (plate spring). ■Completely no backlash, resistant to aging Since all power transmission is performed through frictional coupling, there is no backlash, accurate shaft rotation, ultra-precision controlled operation is possible, and there is basically no deterioration over time. ■Clamp method Alignment is possible with two bolts on each side. The clamp hubs on both sides are assembled using a high-precision special jig to ensure high concentricity. Additionally, taper flanges and center nuts compatible with the tapered shaft of servo motors are available as options. ■Wedge fastening method Highly reliable and high precision wedge fastening method. As with the clamp method, high concentricity is ensured. Additionally, it can accommodate larger diameter shafts compared to the clamp method. ■Simple clean compatible It is simple clean compatible with clean cleaning, assembly (ISO class 6), and clean packaging. In order to improve the rust prevention effect, we have changed the surface treatment of the main body and applied electroless nickel plating to the bolt. In addition, there are two types of grease for clamp bolts to ensure axial force: low dust generation grease and fluorine grease.
