Place a dial gauge on the finished outer diameter surface, and alternately tighten the fastening bolts while adjusting so that the amplitude of the gauge is 0.02 or less when the shaft is rotated. 5. Finally, use a torque wrench to tighten to the recommended tightening torque. 6.
